POLICE SURRENDER: REGAINING CONTROL
If you have been asked to surrender your firearms or ammunition by your local Police Department, having Precision Point Firearms handle the custody transfer gives you greater control over your possessions than the Police Department can offer.
Our Custody Options Include:
- **Storage:** Secure storage until your legal situation is resolved.
- **Sale or Consignment:** The option to have us purchase or consign your items immediately.
- **Transfer:** Transfer to another person (with a valid LTC or FID) if the owner is not subject to a restraining order or domestic violence arrest.
INVENTORY RECORD:
Upon receipt of your firearms and ammunition, we will provide you with a detailed inventory list, including the make, model, serial number, caliber, condition, and any accessories for each item.
Firearm Pickup Service
We offer a discreet and professional pick-up service for firearms that have been surrendered or confiscated by your local Police Department, as well as for transfer pickups.
Retrieving Firearms from Police Custody:
**Instruction Letter:** You or your attorney must write a letter to the Police Department instructing them where you would like your firearms stored (i.e., Precision Point Firearms).
**Retrieval & Service:** We retrieve your firearms and offer our full range of services: **Storage, Sale, Consignment, or Transfer**.
LICENSE REINSTATEMENT PICKUP (FFL REQUIRED)
If your LTC or FID card is reinstated and the Police Department has possession of your firearms, those items must be **transferred back to you by an FFL**. We can pick them up from the Police Department and efficiently handle the legal transfer process back into your possession.
